Great Big Sound, does not require a Great Big Pric

With respect to the BEHRINGER EUROLIVE VS1520 SPEAKER which I just purchased from Bavas I read that Capable of handling input levels up to 600 Watts, with exceptional sound quality. Guess what, it does. The 15" driver is suitably ported, gives tonnes of bass, the box is wood, so it gives more resounding bass than any plastic enclosure. Finish of the box is good, weighs around 22 Kgs, so I can still lift it with those handles provided. Top end is also quite good as the twins piezo tweeter gives a reasonable top end without screeching, top middle is okay down to 2 or 3 Khz as the 15" gives low down to around, I guess 30hz, and middle up to 3 or 4 Khz so that is quite good. With a pair of these running and I have tried to drive them hard with an 800 watts amp each, that is to say 350 watts RMS, they not only perform well drivers output crisp and detailed highs. Let me say you could get away without using a sub woofer, as the bass is extremely good. I intend to use these in a church or a pub, (4) would be great for any pub or closed venue front of house set up. I also use them in the lounge room at home, and annoy the missus. Great grill so the kids can't put their matchbox cars in the ports. Well done Uli!
