German guitarist, Manuel Gardner Fernandes, started playing at the age of 3 and has blossomed into a truly exciting artist at the forefront of contemporary guitar. His percussive style, based on deadnotes and hard strumming, is influenced not only by metal, but also by fusion, jazz, soul and funk.
