By: Frank Harvey on 12 August 2025I needed a new mixer for my studio , the old one (another Brand) had faders which were bleeding signal into other channels. As a duo , we already had a Mackie 1402 VLZ4 for our PA. We are most impressed with the quality and strength of their product as well as the great clean signal of the onyx preamps for our vocals. And what about the firm but smooth action of the pots……so impressive. As with the 1402, the new mixer will no doubt last for many years …… built for long and accurate service. So glad we decided to stick with the Mackie Brand.
